Tracking your revenue

Posted 5/06/2009 12:39:00 AM

How do you keep me honest?

Okay, I know I'm honest (too honest, some would say), but you don't. So how do you know I'm really paying what you've earnt?

Revenue reports are automated to varying degrees by the different affiliate schemes. There are two ways to track Google AdSense revenue, for example. One is to request I set up an automated periodical report from Google to your email address that will show how much money your domain has earnt. Reports are also available from the other, non-AdSense advertising programmes, too, although they are currently manually generated.

The second is to create your own Google Analytics account and check your AdSense revenues there, which I'd recommend you do anyway. Read 'using Google Analytics' for more information.
